Must make a living March 29, 2008

For the last 4 days we have been hearing two precious little children crying and screaming for their mom and dad. It breaks my heart. Its astounding to then see Kev be remind of similar things that have happened in his own life and see him hurting for these children. This morning I found out that the little ones parents leave and lock them inside the gate. They have no one to watch the children, no income to do so. Therefore, they must leave the home to put even one meal on the table each day more than likely. I do not know what the story is down to the exact detail, but I do know that there are tons of families like this here in Haiti and even more all around the world. So, if this week or maybe even today, you could just say a prayer for my neighbors and for the rest of the children that often are abandoned throughout the day while their parents try to provide some food, literally to have their daily bread I think it would be significant. I am praying for this too and I think it can be a remarkable thing to remind us of our blessings and to fight for those that do not always receive the literal daily bread.

Thanks. GOD BLESS YOU. Tash
