I'm back from the country. i got back last night a little before dark. it was really great, but i wont lie when there was down time i often was missing my home back in PAP. but it was so good. i love going out into the country. the people there are always so affectionate, hospitable, caring, full of joy, and so much more. we stayed with the pastor of the village. he and his wife have 8 children + some...i mean it often felt as thou they the own village was eating at their house. it was fun. i have realized to that things just don't shock me anymore, and Dorothy says that there will always be things, but its like i have seen extreme poverty, malnourished children, sick people, horrible sanitation, bad drinking water, trash everywhere and much more. this still breaks my heart, but it just doesn't shock me. i mean seriously people the majority of the world lives in these conditions and although i am always still broken in my heart and outraged by the fact that it is true I'm plain and simply not shocked by it anymore. it is reality. anyway...i don't know if this is a bad thing with my spirit or a good thing. it just simply is. I'm going to try to post some pictures soon.
hope you all had a fabulous Easter weekend. He is risen. He is risen indeed. <3 <3 <3
