transitioning...

So i do have much to update you on...

but it will all unfold as time goes by...

while Beaver and Kathy were in Haiti i was the 'boss' at the MP, but we are all a team there so i dont really enjoy being called the boss...although i did often feel like mama k while they were gone. i could never replace her nor would i want to...but to be compared to her is a great honor. but this whole point person has continued since their return as it was somewhat a trial run while they were gone.

i also got to take care of rebecca while beaver and kathy were in haiti until the 2nd... which is always fun as i love that young girl!!! we had lots of fun!

i have to admit i think i have done a fabulous job. i think i have more of my mother in me than i ever realized... i like things organized and i am great at delegating tasks...details are not much my thing and paperwork/ administration is not really my favorite past time for sure...but i LOVE empowering people, communication and working as a team. all of this is greatly needed to run/ oversee all the things happening here at the Market Place/Much Ministries. sometime i feel like a chicken with my head cut off running around forgetting what i was doing (i think this is the ADHD that was never actually diagnosed) , but in general i think i got this down.

all that probably caused a bit of confusion... but God's Favor is upon Much Ministries and Beaver working with the UN, WFP, UNICEF and NGO's to really perhaps change the structure of how these BIG guys actually do things. Haiti is likely to be a model for all countries the UN works with... God has opened up doors on the ground in Haiti and Beaver and Kathy are feeling the pull to have a much more prominent presence there. in fact we are looking into a home base in haiti.

they have always had a vision to do a trade/leadership school, but thought it would be years down the road when there was enough people to cover the market place and when God said now is the time... i think beaver always thought this would be a couple years from now... but its clear that Gods timing is now. therefore everyone at the MP has had to really step up to the plate in terms of leadership as kathy and beaver have been back and forth to haiti non stop since the earthquake.

but despite the immediacy of it all everyone has really pulled together, picked up the slack and its been a really wonderful growing experience. granted all growing has the whole growing pains that come with it...but God is doing MUCH...as MUCH (MM) is blooming...

There is so much to share about all this... as we are in transition... and the details of it all are a bit unclear, but everyday it seems to unfold a bit more...i need to start being more diligent about writing on here...

so in the next few days i will try to catch you all up to speed and then keep a steady flow from there...
