Adam is thinking about ways to get their ideas to sherrie fausey's mission in Port-au-Prince. I think this is amazing...i am so excited about it...i know some people would think...gross are you kidding, but i am so thankful for these two women and what they are doing...i hope their vision spreads and that it really makes a BIG difference in Haiti.

potty soil
I was just informed this morning from a customer Adam, a friend and fellow lover of the Haitian people....that there is this group doing awesome things with waste and composting in haiti!!! it is called (potty) soil the two women who are doing it are in Cap Haitian, Haiti. here is a video on it for more information.

Can't watch the video due to computer issues, but if this is the same idea as one I recently read about (Time Mag, maybe?), it may be very intriguing. Idea for "compost toilets" - rather like the outhouses of yesteryear - is gaining ground in some communities.
