today i worked on teaching one of the nannies how to do therapy with poutchino...he is getting so strong...doing so much more. i am beyond proud of him and thankful to God. he is truly amazing that little boy...and to hold him again...hear him say 'AH, GAN'...is SO worth it! Sr. Kattelyn is doing a great job with him...i hope to work with her everyday possible until she really feels comfortable doing therapy with him! i'm so excited someone will do it everday with him again...as he has gained much strength and confidence. who knows where he will be in another 10 months...maybe taking 10 steps at a time on his own or more...2 to 10, 10 to every...oh the things i know the LORD can do in poutchi...
i leave on the 15th of sept...and i am trying desperately to pretend that will take forever to come...kervens prays for me to stay here longer every night i tuck him in. goodness i have missed that boy. tonight we sat on the roof snuggled...talked about haiti...his future...how its been while i was away and looked at the storm coming our way...i have greatly missed this place!
