Dorothy left yesterday and i've moved into her room....and i am officially the big mama now. however there is madame sevir who is the director now...she is lovely. she is helping dorothy get her orphanage license and with helping add more structure for the staff and children. she also will be the one dealing with problems among staff if they arise. i will say i am very thankful for this! today we had to go downtown for some paperwork and we had to stop on the side of the road a total of 6 times because the car overheated. dorothy really needs a new one so pray for FAVOR FAVOR FAVOR as she is in the states not fundraising and seeing her family.
she also needs a new generator or inverter or both so that she doesn't have to rely on city (edh) electricity because that can be very fickle, the housing situation as they are tearing down her wall here...she may have to move or maybe she can buy this home still dont know....and then of course there are repairs, medicine, food, and doctor appointments that are always going on. all that to say there is much needed and this is why i speak FAVOR FAVOR FAVOR upon her as she is in the states.
we are doing well here...kervens has grown so much...not much physically although maybe a little...but he has matured in so many ways....growing up...not only learning the fruits of the spirit but definitely practicing them more. he has also become quite the chef....both baker and cook! the new cook that is here since i left Sr. Ava has given him some cooking lessons. we have made several batches of cookies and a brownie mix, plus we have decided he will be my chef for dinner in the evenings. this kid is so amazing. LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM! not just for the new skill of mastering the kitchen....promise. :)
what else is going on...for keziah and casey: Johnny is on his ARV meds now and we take him back to frere ti ser on september 3rd. he seems to be extremely happy. the kiddos miss you both....pray for you everday. ou fe bon travay avek yo!!
ok...i best get to bed. love love love!
