i know it has only been 4 days, but so many things have happened. i will do my best to recap you on the big highlights...
Wednesday...in the morning we transported DeeDee and her boys to Caribbean for a shopping spree so to speak. she had some visitors in so they were letting her boys get some goodies. then right after that i got home and rushed to get Poutchino to healing hands for therapy. then when i got home Dorothy had started a big task bleaching and cleaning our rock bed that we have inside...so i joined in on the fun. then Wednesday night Pastor Emory and Mary came into port late from Gonaives to spend the night as they had to fly out the next morning for an emergency at home in Georgia. please pray for them. they have a ministry here and had just settled down to stay for at least 2 years. it had been 6weeks, and then they had to return home.
Thursday...we did several airport runs as flights here and that sorta of thing are a bit chaotic and often take a full day. i know it was very exhausting for Mary & Emory because they were suppose to get the first flight out and then didn't leave until late afternoon. but i hope they are doing well now and safe at home in Georgia. then that night we and Dorothy had to get up early in the morning because the puppies were crying SO loud. Nala apparently feels overwhelmed with the 10 pups...understandable. however we often have to force her to feed and sit with her while she does it. sad day...praise God though they are getting big enough to eat puppy food now. oh i don't even know that i told everyone we had puppies...oh well now you know :)
Friday...the biggest day...
we went to the playground at church to play as we often do on Friday mornings and we had ice cream (deedees friends brought it...such a treat) and it was a great morning. i mean i was extremely tired considering the nights sleep before that...but still great. later that day not long after we got home, Kevs feel outside and busted his front permanent tooth, plus his lip and also landed on his arm that had been already bruised or injured somehow from a soccer ball the week before. needless to say he was in a lot of pain. last week we didn't have the money to take him to get an x-ray, but thanks be to God we did this week...so we spent the afternoon in the hospital. it turns out that he had a fracture and got a cast put on. the Dr. who put his cast on we actually know from healing hands and thank the Lord he gave us a missionary discount and cut the price in half!! then later that night Marley Desir (the dentist that came to check all the kids out while my sister was in town) came and fixed his tooth. he needed electricity and we didn't have it, but dottie who has a guest house up the street let us come and do it there. what a blessing a dentist that does house calls. Kevs was a great sport too...only cried and held my hand tight when the Novocaine went in, but after awhile he didn't want to hold my hand, he a tough guy :)
OK and Saturday we worked at agape flights with the mail and it was hectic...so its been a bit crazy lately, but its settling down hopefully. Kevs i think overall is pretty excited about having a cast. i was honored to be the person he wanted to sign it first. hes such a sweet kid. when he wants to be of course...hes definitely all boy, if you know what i mean :)
i think that's all for tonight. I'll try to get some pictures up soon, i just have to get them from Dorothy now because i have lost my camera. but hopefully soon, because you'll want to see pics of kevs I'm sure!
thanks for everything, reading the blog, praying for us, supporting, encouraging us...everything!
I pray blessings upon each one of you. t.Rae

Tasha! Thank you for your birthday call to me- I just got it, after being out of cell range for more than a week. I don't know how to call you! Did you get my letter? I sent it several weeks ago. I am getting ready to move and already there is lots of catching up to do since i wrote you last. It seems like you're doing amazing work in Haiti, based on the blog lately. Poutchino's photo broke my heart. I send you lots of love.
hugs and kisses,
Kristin
