God's reminder...

lately i had been debating whether or not to keep this blog open or not because i havent done a very good job of keeping up with it, especially now since one of my main duties with MUCH Ministries is make sure our website and blog is updated there....and when you are in an office and at your computer most the day...you often dont want to go home an look at a computer again...

so here i was debating to close t-raehaiti.blogspot...when God reminded me that even in the small things we do He is using us!

See i was attending the Care-Net Banguet (check them out-here) with a team from MUCH Ministries as we are connected with them and are about to collaborate with them on our MUCH Love Mentor training program. it was a great time, good food, speakers and videos...

While eating a gentleman and his wife mentioned that they had been on the Much Ministries site and then from there went to my blog...they read all about me and junior and were interested and encouraged, after the program they prayed for Junior and i and it was truly a blessing.

then after the program another man came to me and said he was on my blog and watched the video i posted called "God is not a white man" by Gungor and actually used it in a youth service at his church (check out church- here). He said the the kids loved it and wanted him to play it over and over again... he said that many kids were encouraged and changed that night. He said he wanted to thank me for posting it.

After those two conversations i was so encouraged and felt like God can use you in your every move you make and often you dont even know. What you watch, what you write, what you listen to, what you say, how you move in this world, your every movement is so important. We need to be attentive...i can't express it enough...God says 'the power of the tongue is life & death' and this is SO true!

all this to say...i am not going to close this blog. i am not discouraged, but encouraged and hope that whenever you read my writings you are encouraged as well.
